Aloha community,

This month brought a full-body awakening. Between seasonal cleansing, music in motion, and sacred connection with other healers, I’ve been reminded of the beauty of shedding layers and coming home to what’s essential.

Let’s flow into what’s been alive in my world and practice this May.

🧘🏾‍♀️ Spring Kapha Cleanse Reflections

This spring, I moved through a deep Kapha cleanse. What surfaced was the subtle weight I’d been carrying—not just physically, but emotionally and energetically. I was reminded that no matter how much I move, meditate, or support others, if I’m not doing the internal work—the cellular, organ-level, lymph-clearing work—I’m not fully resourced.

That means:

  • Hydration and elimination

  • Gentle bowel cleansing

  • Enemas and nasya oil for the sinuses

  • Liver and lung support

  • Rest, real rest

And just as importantly—joy, creativity, and the ritual of regeneration

When the Kapha began to clear, I felt it. The heaviness left. My digestion came online. My hunger for life returned.

I’ve anchored a few daily rhythms that feel deeply supportive:

  • Warm pickled ginger every morning

  • Triphala at night a few times a week

  • 4–5 cups of herbal tea throughout the day

  • A spoon of olive oil upon waking

  • And kitchari—my seasonal devotional dish. Mung dal, jasmine rice, cumin, coriander, turmeric, black pepper, pink salt, and lime.

Want the recipe? Drop a comment and I’ll send it your way.

Event Highlight: Kasey Boone Skin Care

This month’s highlight was being part of a beautiful esthetician-centered event hosted by Kasey Boone Skin Care. What struck me most was how healing the esthetics profession actually is. These practitioners hold faces, listen to stories, work with trauma through skin—and Kasey created a space that honored that sacred work.

In our conversations, I realized that many of the gaps I’ve seen in wellness—unprocessed emotion, unspoken grief, exhaustion—exist in these beauty spaces too. Kasey saw it. And she moved with it. That’s the kind of leadership that invites me to offer my work—yoga therapy, nervous system care, trauma-informed holding.

This is the flow I love: when clients bring me into their communities to co-create something that heals.

If you’re building something for your people, and it’s time to center the body, the breath, and the spirit—let’s talk. Book a consult and let’s create space for real restoration.

🎵 New Music Visuals

The sonic altar is alive.

New visuals are rising from the earth—desert textures, ancestral drums, embodied rhythm. It’s a reclamation of sound as medicine. Keep an eye out for previews soon—I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes on IG with the same sacred energy I bring to the mat and the mic.

📬 Newsletter News – A New Flow (But Not Just Yet)

I spoke a little too soon…

Originally, I planned to shift the newsletter rhythm this July. But after sitting with what’s truly sustainable, I’ve decided to begin this new chapter either in autumn or at the start of the new year, 2026. I’m giving this offering the time it needs to grow its roots.

Here’s what’s coming when the new rhythm begins:

Paid Subscribers → Weekly drops: case studies, rituals, food therapy, behind-the-scenes shares, and sacred field notes from the path.

Free Subscribers → Monthly love notes: affirmations, recaps, offerings, and seasonal updates.

This space is becoming more intentional, more real-time, and more resourced. Thank you for your patience and trust as I move at the pace of integrity.

📚 Mini-Lesson: What is Non-Harmful Communication?

In yoga therapy, we explore ahimsa—non-harming—not just in action, but in thought and word.

Non-harmful communication starts internally. It’s the way we speak to ourselves when we miss the mark, when we're in transition, when we’re tired or tender. It's the moment we pause before self-blame and ask:
“Is what I’m saying to myself rooted in care?”

This practice is less about what we say to others and more about how we tend to the internal conversation.
In session, I guide clients to notice:

  • Where does your self-talk land in your body?

  • Does it constrict or create space?

  • Is it aligned with the reality of the moment—or with an old wound?

Non-harmful communication is about learning to respond to yourself with awareness, honesty, and compassion. When your internal language becomes a sanctuary, your external voice becomes medicine.

💌 Thank You

To the ones who’ve walked with me through this season—
from Kasey Boones Community, to our Flow fam.
from the mat to the mic, from ceremony to stillness.

To every reader, mover, healer, and feeler—thank you.

For staying in the practice.
For honoring your process.
For showing up, even when it’s messy or miraculous.

This path is sacred, spiral, and sovereign.
And we are not walking it alone.

Let’s keep breathing into what’s real.
Let’s keep creating what’s needed.
Let’s keep returning to god and ourselves, again and again.

With devotion, direction, and deep deep deeeeeeep care,
